To identify as an engaged MAN without having transitioned is overwhelming and takes its toll on a relationship.
Transitioning according to Wikipedia:
is the process of changing one’s gender presentation to accord with one’s internal sense of one’s gender - the idea of what it means to be a man or woman. For transsexuals, this process will also involve sex reassignment therapy, and their new sex is “opposite” that of birth sex; for intersex people it is different from how they were raised; for genderqueer people it is neither solely female nor male. Cross-dressers and drag queens and drag kings tend not to transition, since their variant gender presentations are (usually) only adopted temporarily.
A lot of sacrifice, commitment, passions and love must be invested from BOTH individuals in the relationship to make the dynamic and passion grow and flourish.
Some questions I ask myself all the time:
- How does my beautiful fiance Krystal do it?
- How do I do it?
- How does society view this? Our families? Our friends?
- What’s our REALITY and what will our future hold?
Follow NUESTRA VIDA: a Vlog (video blog) about our journey. We will tell our story with an open mind and seek support and guidance from all of our loving and supportive fans out there. It will be an amazing journey leading up to my transition and our wedding day.
We hope that ALL who see and get to know a little about US could take something from the experience that we share, our lives, raw. We are humans with an experience that not many are open to talk about. We want to connect to others who are going through similar issues and have a story to tell. Welcome to NUESTRA VIDA!
