As Im getting ready for the festivities of tonight and looking forward to all my success in 2012, Obama signs into law a bill that will detain any american suspected of terrorism under the military, without a trial. He swears that he “will not authorize the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens. Indeed, I believe that doing so would break with our most important traditions and values as a Nation.” Obama.
Yes, Mr President, but what about the next administration? At this point I don’t know if you are going to get re-elected. Do we know what that administration defines as terrorism? Does this mean that the Occupy Movement supporters might be considered terrorists? Are the leaders and supporters of this movement going to Guatanamo bay?
Obama, were you threatened?
How am I going to be able to say that I will support you when all the hope you provided was only temporary. Is your mantra and all the words you spill to the american public a bunch of BS since now you see what it truly means to generate change with US? My change ain’t enough to last me past a dollar let alone past midnight. Hope ain’t enough to change those that want otherwise.
So, what are we looking forward to in 2012? Let’s see who gets elected and we will see what this law truly means. No matter, what, I’m staying positive, because that is all I have.
